I had trouble with 1Password not connecting after upgrading to El Capitan. I went to the forum and
I am using 1Password 5 v. 5.4.1. I upgraded to El Capitan. I then got the message that Mini password was not connecting. I went to the forum and typed in the terminal fix suggested. Now the mini password appears on the toolbar, but it doesn't auto fill. If I bring up a sign in and click the mini icon, it opens a simple menu-Favorites etc.-but it doesn't open to the site I am on.

Hey @dermdocgene,
It sounds like the browser extension may not be communicating with 1Password properly. Could you make sure you have the extension installed in the browser you're using?

Thanks for the help. The Safari extension was not installed. I installed it as you suggested, and everything seems to be working fine.
I appreciate your suggestion.
What puzzles me is how did it get uninstalled. It was working fine. Then I installed the update to 5.4.1 and it didn't work anymore.0 -
@dermdocgene Glad to hear that got things rolling. :) I'm not sure why it disappeared, but if it does again please let us know so we can look into things a bit further. We're here if you have any other questions.
