I have just purchased the latest version from the Agile Bits web store. Deleted the old 1Password app.
I have followed all the instructions provided on your support site (restart, reinstall, cleanup 1 password old copies, etc.)
I just can't get pass the "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini" error whatsoever. Please help.
I sync via Dropbox, I have the latest OS X 10.11.1 (15B42) installed today.

    Hi @alradu,

I'm sorry you're getting that error message! Does that happen when trying to open the main 1Password app? If so, please try the steps in this knowledgebase article: Troubleshooting “1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini”

If that doesn't solve the problem, you might have multiple copies of the 1Password app on your Mac. We have another article which will help you to find and remove any extra copies: How to remove multiple, conflicting copies of 1Password from your system

Does that helps? Please let us know how it all goes, thanks!

Hi Drew, I was reaching out to you just because I have tried everything scripted on your help site and was not able to resolve my issue still.

    Hi @alradu,

No problem, I just wanted to be sure you had followed the exact steps from those knowledgebase articles - you mentioned a few general things you tried but I didn't know if you were specifically referring to those articles or not. Thanks for confirming! :)

To help us figure out why you're still getting that error, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac: https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum username so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and make sure you receive a reply as quickly as possible.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks Drew, I ran the diagnostics report and sent it out. Looking forward to getting these install hurdles figured out and getting upgraded to the awesomeness of 1Password 5. :)
