Question about usage of 1password by each household memeber

When I renew my expired license and purchase the 1password for say the mac platform, I understand that up to 6 family members in my household can have 1password and use it on their computer. My question is- Do we all have to share an "account" or set of passwords? Will everyone else have access to my set of passwords? Or can each person using the 1password app on their computer, have their own set of passwords that nobody else can access or see? In other words, I want to have my own set up of passwords that I access on my computer and the other person in the household has their own set of passwords that they access on their computer. We don't want any cross access of each other's personal passwords/info (unless of course we purposely need to share something). But is this possible under the single user license (on a single platform of course?) If you could get back to me as soon as you get a chance I'd very much appreciate it, so I can purchase the license and get started right away.

Thank you so much!

Yes, this is exactly how it will work, unless you decide to share data with each other.

Ah ok thank you for that clarification.
So then I guess I am confused about what is the difference between getting the family license as opposed to the single user license.

The family licence no longer exists, because the simple licence allows use by upto six family members. In the pat there was a distinction between single user and family licences.

And, even when the family license still existed, that is still how it worked. Each person had his or her own vault, completely separate from other family members. Unless they decided to share.
