Secure note scrollviews do not keep their own position
Let's say you have two secure notes. Long ones - longer than a page of text.
You look at the first one and scroll to the bottom. Then you click on the second one. You find that the second one is scrolled down. That's annoying, you wanted to start at the top.
You scroll back to the top. Then you go to the first note, and find that this one is now scrolled to the top.
The scrollviews in secure notes should remember their own scroll positions, and not share this state between them.

Hi @sdsykes,
I'm sorry you're having this problem with Secure Notes!
I've been trying to reproduce this, but so far it seems to work correctly for me. I made sure to have two Secure Notes which are both long (several pages), and I select one and scroll to the bottom of the note. Then I select the other long Secure Note, and it shows the top of the note. When I switch back to the first Secure Note, it also shows the top of the note (which is expected behavior).
To help us try to reproduce the problem, can you please let us know some more information:
- Are you using the Mac App Store or AgileBits Store version of 1Password? (From the main app, go to 1Password > About 1Password to check that.)
- Is the problem happening in the main 1Password app, or in 1Password mini, or both?
- Are you in the edit mode of either one of those Secure Notes when this happens?
- In case it makes any difference, if you open System Preferences and select General, what settings are selected for the scroll bars?
If there's anything else you can tell us about your setup or how you reproduce this, it might help us figure out why that's happening for you. Thanks!

Ok, this is very consistently reproducible for me. Show Scroll Bars is set to Always in system prefs.
This is app store 1password, v5.4 540046.
This is in the main app, not the mini app. You don't have to be editing the note.
This is one of my test notes. I made two like this. If I look at one and scroll it, the then go to the other, the scroll position reflects where I left the first one instead of the top. They aren't independent.

Hi @sdsykes,
Thanks for the info & screenshot! I was finally able to reproduce this - I think the reason I wasn't able to reproduce yesterday was because the notes fields weren't long enough. When I created two more new Secure Notes and made the notes field a lot longer, it was very easy to reproduce the exact same behavior you described. I've submitted a bug report to our developers about this (I don't have any timeframe for when it will be fixed, though).
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! If you need anything else, we're here for you. :)
