Hi @jstockton,
I confess, I'm feeling really dumb as I ponder what the heck is happening here and coming up blank. All I can think of is to reset iCloud and see if that helps. Here is what I would recommend. Now I am assuming you're running the latest version of 1Password for iOS which is currently version 6.0.2.
- On your Mac launch 1Password for Mac and use the menu option Help > Troubleshooting > Reset iCloud Data. This will delete the iCloud Sync container for 1Password.
- Give it a moment, always best to let anything that syncs a moment to catch up.
- Re-enable iCloud Sync on your Mac.
- Moving to your iPad, can you now set 1Password for iOS up as an existing user with data in iCloud?
- On your iPhone you should find that 1Password for iOS will inform you that the data has changed in iCloud and that it has disabled sync as a precaution. The message will appear after you've unlocked your vault. Simply setting up sync again is all you will need to do here. It's this bit that really requires 1Password 6.0.2 for iOS as we added a couple of bug fixes to both Mac and iOS for when the sync data is pulled from under 1Password and it handles the whole thing a lot more gracefully. Don't worry about the merge message - that's normal.
So basically I'm hoping that if we reset the CloudKit container for 1Password that whatever this issue is will be removed. Please do let us know either way what happens though and I'll have my fingers crossed for good news.
