the most recent update to 1Password becomes unresponsive upon launch, what can i do to correct?
after updating to the most recent version, when i attempt to launch 1password, it hangs and becomes unresponsive, and i have to force quit. A full download from the web doesn't correct, as of yet.

Please tell us:
- Exactly what version of 1P for Mac you are using (different people have different ideas about what "latest version" means :) and please ensure you tell us whether you're running the Mac App Store version or the AgileBits store version )
- Your OS X version number
- Whether you see any error message when you try to launch 1Password and, if so, what it says

Hey @tonyb92681,
We'll need a bit more info to figure out what's going on. Could you post the details that Stephen mentioned? With those, we'll have a better idea of what may be happening. :)

i can't see the version number with launching the app, and how can that be done if the app won't launch? Or am I missing something elsewhere. I am running El Cap 10.11. it is the AgileBits Store version.
i tried posting the error report, but its too long. no errors ever appear on screen., just after launch, a right click on the dock icon shows it not responding

@tonyb92681 You can check the version number without launching the app by opening the Applications folder in Finder, selecting 1Password, and pressing the
spacebar
to bring up a Quick Look window. The second line will be the version.0 -
thanks Penderworth. Version is 5.4.1

@tonyb92681 Thanks for posting that. It's the most recent version, so it's strange you're having trouble opening the app. Could you try restarting your computer and see if that makes a difference?

why does the obvious things always become the hardest things to remember to try? done and done. also upgraded to El Cap 10.11.1, either the reboot or the OS upgrade did it.

@tonyb92681 So everything is up and running now? :) Rebooting fixes all those random little glitches sometimes. It's a strange world, the digital one!
