Syncing issue

Hi together,

First, I love 1Password and I use it on my Windows PC, iOS devices and at least on my MacBook which is used for work (private use is allowed!). Since I startet with 1P, I used Dropbox to keep my vaults synced. So far, so good...

Today Dropbox got banned from my MacBook because of company polices and therefore, I can't sync the vaults on the MacBook anymore.

My first idea was to use the iCloud sync, but this only works for the primary vault and not on my Windows PC.
My second idea was to sync all my devices, expect the MacBook, via Dropbox and use WLAN Sync to sync the MacBook, but this is also not possible as long Dropbox is active on the iOS devices...

So, my question is, how can I sync my MacBook? Any ideas?

Cheers,
Michael

@miccom: Unfortunately it sounds like Wi-Fi wouldn't be a viable option for you anyway, since you need to sync multiple computers. Wi-Fi Sync only works with a single computer and one or more iOS or Android devices. And as you mentioned, multiple vaults are a bit of a dime as well, as these are only fully supported across all platforms using Dropbox.

However, you may be able to use a hybrid approach. Is there another sync service that is allowed on your Mac? It isn't officially supported, but you may be able to try the following:

    1. Sync each vault between computers using [Folder Sync] in conjunction with a cloud service
    2. Sync the iOS devices with the Mac via Wi-Fi

While only the computers will be able to access the vaults using Folder Sync, 1Password for Mac can sync multiple vaults via Wi-Fi with your iOS devices. Let me know what you think. :)

    Hi Brenty,

Seems to be the only way I could go at the moment, by using iCloud Drive on Mac/Win and sync the iOS devices via WiFi.

    Thanks,
    Michael

PS: Topic can be marked as solved
