iCloud syncing spinning wheel forever

in trying to set up 1Password on a new computer with iCloud sync, I found that the sync feature had somehow gotten unsynchronized between our old computers (I think because one was upgraded to version 5 and the other was running 4). I have deactivated synchronization on all devices, supposedly deleted data from iCloud in the process, and am attempting to reactive synchronization on 1 device to iCloud. But I am getting nothing but a message that says "Syncing..." and a spinning wheel that never stops. I believe I have tried all the troubleshooting tips on your website.

    Hi @laddshack,

Unfortunately, your questions is hard to address without getting some additional information. I'd like to ask you to create Diagnostics Reports from both of your Macs. Instructions are below:

    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Team!

I just ran the report and emailed it to the auto-generated address and support+forum@agilebits.com.

  • @laddshack - Thanks for sending us the diagnostics report. We will reply to you via email.
