My 1password5 was updated to the latest version and now appears a message indicating that my trial period has expired. And in 1password5 menu -> License, not gives option to insert the password that i have.

Thank you for your reply, but not appears me in license the text 'Click here to...'. Only showns my serial number and the instructions to add it into License menu.

1Password 3 used a serial number: 1P4 and 1P5 use a licence file. The upgrade to 1P4/1P5 from 1P3 was paid. Did you ever buy 1P4/1P5 (the same licence file works for both 1P4 and 1P5).

If you need to buy 1P5 for Mac you can buy either from the Mac App Store or direct from the AgileBits store. There are two things to bear in mind:

    1. If you ever want to use iCloud to sync 1P data between your Mac and iPhone you must buy 1P from the Mac App Store because the version from the AgileBits store doesn't support iCloud sync (following changes made by Apple on the launch of OS X Yosemite). Both versions support sync of 1P data by either local wifi or Dropbox.
    2. As you have owned an earlier version of 1P for Mac you should be entitled to an upgrade discount if you buy from the AgileBits store. That discount won't be available if you buy from the Mac App Store.

    Hi @txipiron_,

I had a quick look in our license database, and I see you do indeed have a license for 1Password 5 for Mac. I've just re-sent your license details to your email address. Let us know if the email you receive doesn't have a link to download and install the license. Cheers!

Finally i followed your steps and it worked!! But, how is possible that the program loose the license if i have not formatted nor installed nothing but the updates?

    Regards

    Hi @txipiron_

I'm honestly not sure. I can dream up any number of possible (however unlikely) scenarios, but unless you're really interested in digging through the log files, I'd say two things: 1) it's not likely to happen again, because licenses, once applied, should stay applied, and 2) it seems to be fixed. I'm content to put this one in the "win" column and leave well enough alone, if you are. :-)
