Why am I being told trial period is expired on my MacBook when it is synched to my licensed iMac?

I have a purchased, multi-device 1Password license on my iMac, synched via Dropbox to MacBook Air and iPad Mimi. But 1Password on MacBook now saying "Trial Expired."


1Password Version: 5.4.1
Extension Version: Chrome 4.3.9; Firefox 4.4.1; Safari 4.4.4
OS Version: OS X 10.10.5
Sync Type: Dropbox

    You need to add the licence on your MacBook: it's not added automatically simply by syncing your 1P data. You can transfer the licence any way you like to the MacBook (email, USB stick, etc.) and then apply it.

    @truekster: Indeed. Unfortunately 1Password has no way of knowing whether or not you've purchased it unless you register the app with your license information.

    But the good news is that all you need to do is follow the instructions in the license email you received from your purchase and click the link to automatically install the license in 1Password to register the app and remove the trial restrictions. In that spirit, I've also resent your license information via email.
