Hi
My name is Olivier Le Boeuf. I am one of your loyal customers, I bought 1Password from the App Store but because I’ve upgraded my operating system to the latest version.now I can’t even install 1Password now! it’s in my App Store purchases but when I try to install it it doesn’t allow me….

I spoke to Apple Genius Bar they’ve advised me to get the download version because the MAC OX latest operating system is not stable yet..
so please provide me the download version.

thanks in advance

    Hi @Olivier90,

I'm sorry you're having some trouble downloading 1Password from the Mac App Store!

I have to admit, I'm quite shocked and confused about the Apple Genius Bar's recommendation, as Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) was officially released a month ago, and has already received an update to 10.11.1 in order to take care of a few minor issues with the initial release. In other words, it's quite stable, and I don't know why Apple would not have been able to help you solve an issue downloading software from the Mac App Store.

Can you please describe exactly what happens when you try to install 1Password from the Mac App Store? If you receive any error messages, it will help if you can let us know exactly what they say. This might be a problem we've seen before and know how to fix, although I can't say for sure without knowing any details about the problem.

Of course, if you'd rather just download the AgileBits Store version of 1Password 5 for Mac, you can do so from our download site. That normally requires a license file for activation - however, if you've previously had the Mac App Store version installed on your Mac (and assuming you haven't erased the hard drive), the AgileBits Store version should be able to detect that, and will automatically activate itself. Please keep in mind that the AgileBits Store version of 1Password does not have the iCloud sync feature.

Thanks, and looking forward to hearing back from you! :)
