    Hi @greene-pea,

So I'm sure there must be something we can do but the first thing is to ask a couple more questions I'm afraid.

Now you said under Sync Type

    Cloud (?)

Can you say with any more confidence if you did set up synchronisation (it's something that you would have to explicitly do, it isn't enabled by default) and if you did do you remember if you used Dropbox or iCloud? If you did and your vault is being synced to one of those cloud services then getting your vault onto your new iMac shouldn't be hard at all.

If you aren't syncing then we will be reliant on either the internal storage device of your old iMac or maybe a Time Machine backup or similar.

As you can see there are options. We just need to learn a bit more about where there might be additional copies so we know what we can try.

    Hi @greene-pea,

Thanks! If you had been syncing 1Password with Dropbox, it should be very easy to get set up on the new Mac. The first thing you'll want to do (if you haven't already done so) is install & set up Dropbox on the new Mac, then allow it to download your files. That should include the 1Password sync data, and it will need to be downloaded before you can use that in 1Password.

You'll also need to install the 1Password app. If you had been using the Mac App Store version of 1Password, simply launch the Mac App Store, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase 1Password, and you should be able to reinstall it from the Purchased section. Or if you had a license for the AgileBits Store version, you can download 1Password from our download site.

Once Dropbox has downloaded your files to the new Mac, you can open the 1Password app, and you'll be able to sync your vault from Dropbox during the setup. You find the specific steps to do that in our user guide.

Does that help? Let us know how it goes and if you run into any problems. Thanks!
