i just purchased the Mac version. In the past I used the app on iOS. Lost that password.
When I try to set up the new vault (by default primary) I am prompted for my password of last time. On iCloud this vault is found. Do I want to merge it. Whether I say yes or no, I can not get past this stage. As I do not know the password anymore, I can not get in. How do I kill this found data on iCloud?
When i try to sync on my local WiFi, the iOS device does not prompt for the code given by the Mac version.
Please help. Just paid 50 € for a program I can't use.
Thanks

Greetings @rickvanerp,
On this occasion I don't think the link provided by Stephen_C will help as it seems to assume you have a vault that you can unlock.
Instead, as soon as you launch 1Password try selecting the following menu option, Help > Troubleshooting > Reset iCloud Data. You may have to close 1Password and re-open afterwards but I'm hopeful this will resolve it by cleanly wiping the iCloud sync data. If it doesn't please do let us know.
