how to get 1password from app store if i already have a license
i got the 1 password app from your website, and have the license to unlock it.
however, i want to sync via iCloud, and i need 1password from the app store. how do i get that?

Hi peter,
If you decide that you want to use iCloud syncing, you can uninstall the Agilebits Store version and install from the Mac App Store. The two versions can technically coexist on your system without uninstalling one, but this is not recommended due to the potential of confusion and conflicts. You can read more about the differences between the two versions here.

Once you download the app store version, you should be prompted to import your existing database. However, you will need to reconfigure your settings.
If you purchased the store version, but want to go the app store version, you can contact Agilebits at support+licenses@agilebits.com to request a refund within 30 days of purchase. Include this thread for reference.

Hey @peter_khoo! It looks like you got our special employee deal. :) We unfortunately cannot offer discounts or promo codes for the Mac App Store version of 1Password. If you'd like to use iCloud sync, you'll need to purchase that copy separately. You can, of course, keep the copy you got from our website and use Dropbox or another sync method if you'd like.
