Syncing Problem (Mac OS to IOS (iPhone 6)
Very frustrating the company does have phone or chat services. Like many other people, I am having a great deal of difficulty syncing my Macbook Air with my iPhone. I am totally up to date on all devices. I tried syncing on wi-fi, and that didn't work. I have dropbox installed, but when I go to one password preferences, there no way I can see to sync with dropbox-- it simple says this computer is set up to sync with wi-fi. What is the solution?

1password version 1 Password 5
Extension version 5.41
OS version: (I don't know how to get this information)
Sync type: it's set up for wi-fi, but that doesn't work -- willing to do dropbox or any kind of sync as long as it will work.0 -
We can certainly help you if we have a little more information.
Please tell us:
- What version of 1Password for iOS you are using
- Exactly what problem you have when you try to sync by wifi. Do you see any error message? If so, what does it say?
As regards wifi sync, as preliminary troubleshooting steps make sure you reboot your Mac and iOS device and, if that doesn't work, also reboot your router. I should say that once you have wifi sync working it works (at least for me) seamlessly, so it's worth persevering at this stage. :)

Greetings @tcsails,
So there are a couple of options. We can try getting Wi-Fi Sync working or we can try Dropbox.
The one thing I would say is it does sound like Wi-Fi Sync has been successfully set up, if Wi-Fi Sync hadn't happened once already it wouldn't state that you're syncing by Wi-Fi as it only stores that if you make it all the way through the setup procedure. Of course if you want to try Dropbox that's fine and all you need to do is disable Wi-Fi Sync first. To do this you would visit Settings > Sync and then tap on the top line, the one that starts with Sync Service. In the next page you should see an option titled Change Dropbox and if not at least one titled Disable Sync
If you do decide to troubleshoot Wi-Fi Sync with us one thing to try is simply rebooting both your Mac and iOS device. Wi-Fi Sync uses Bonjour for device discovery and I find it can get gummed up, necessitating the occasional reboot. I see the same issue in Wi-Fi Sync with iTunes though which is why I suspect Bonjour as the culprit. We will work with you to get whatever sync service you want running smoothly, so the first part is to decide which you would prefer
