Transferring between expired 1Password and Apple AppStore 1Password Versions
When I received a new Mac I accidentally started using and sync with a copy of 1Password that I downloaded from the Agilebits Webstore instead of via the Apple AppStore where I purchased 1Password from several years ago. My downloaded copy of 1Password has now exceeded it's trial period and I want to transfer my dropbox synced Password database to the AppStore version of 1Password.
Can you recommend a best procedure for doing this? In the past I have blown away my password database when attempting to make a transition like and would like to have some guidance on best practices.

Switching to the version of 1Password from the Mac App Store
Basically, all you need to do is remove the AgileBits Store version without an app cleaner and install the Mac App Store version. Once you get everything set up on the App Store version, you can also move to iCloud sync if you prefer it (that's a feature only available to the Mac App Store version).
