Can I use one password for some accounts and not use it for others?

I want to use my 1 password account for business, but want to keep my personal accounts out of the master 1 password. Account. Does that work? Can we only use the one password for accounts we want to include and not include others? Also can a person share their account with another person and if so, do they just add the account as if it were another device? (We share devices.)

Thank you.

    Hello @karen_hill,

    Yes this is possible.

Firstly you can easily separate the data in 1Password by creating a new vault for your business-related data. Just go to the menu "1Password 5" > "New Vault" and go through the steps to create a new vault for your business-related data. You will be able to switch between you personal/business data in the app depending on what you need to access.

If you would like to share vaults between devices or users, you will have to setup syncing. There are different options but it depends on your situation. If you are using Mac and Android you should probably setup Dropbox syncing. You would need to create an account at www.dropbox.com and then setup syncing for each vault on Dropbox for any device that needs access to the information.

Here is the link to setup syncing for Android: https://support.1password.com/guides/android/settings-sync.html
