After a recent update on my Mac, I am getting an 10810 error intermittently when logging in.
After the recent Mac update I am receiving an 10810 error message when trying to log into a site. The error message is intermittent and can be removed allowing entry into the site but it causes multiple process steps to do so.

Hey @cab! It sounds like the auto-submit script is having a bit of trouble. All this does is simulate you pressing the
enter
key on your keyboard so you don't have to after selecting an item to fill in 1Password. You should be able to simply refresh it to get things up and running properly again. Here's how to do that:- Close all browsers and 1Password.
- In the Finder, go to the following folder:
~/Library/Application Scripts/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper
- Delete the
1Password_Autosubmit.scpt
file. - Reboot your Mac.
Let us know how that goes! :)

Penderworth,
Well, I've searched for the file you mentioned in #2 above (and the error message I am getting supports your comments) but I cannot find it. Thoughts?cab

Hi @cab,
Just earlier today I posted instructions for another user on how to delete this same file. These instructions might be clearer for you.
Here's what they were:
- Open a new Finder window
- Use the Go > Go to Folder... menu item. This should show a sheet window over your Finder window with a text field.
- Copy paste this into the text field:
~/Library/Application Scripts/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper
- Click Go
- This should bring you to a folder in Finder that contains a file named "1Password_Autosubmit.scpt". Drag that to the trash.
- Open 1Password's preferences window
- Select the Browser preference pane
- Check "Automatically submit logins after filling"
- It should bring up a dialog asking you to effectively just click 'OK'. The system is just asking you to confirm that you want to give us access to that folder that we just went to in Finder, so that 1Password can re-create that file we trashed.
This should fix things up. No reboot required.

that scpt file does not exist for me either

Rick,
Worked fine until the last item. There was no dialog box and no request to click "OK." Now, when I go to a site - I am not logged in automatically.

Rick - I rebooted and noted the Automatically submit button was not checked (even though I did click it as instructed). When I clicked it again I got a "Continue" button and after clicking that button everything seems to be working. Hopefully, the original "error" message will not reappear and all is well.
Thanks for your help.

Hi @cab,
Glad to hear things have returned to a more normal level of behaviour. That dialog box can be a bit quirky at times but I've found two attempts usually forces the thing to appear a bit like you've found too. It's hard to say given we don't know yet how this particular situation developed but I would hope it doesn't return.
@dlaurentny: I've written a reply to you in the other thread just before seeing this one so we'll continue the conversation there
