I can access my vault on my phone, but the password doesn't open on my computer. How can I fix this?

I am not able to choose the vault from the dropdown menu on the computer - it is greyed out.

    Hi Stephen,
I am on version 5.4 on my macbook, and don't know on iOS but recently activated touch ID.
    I use Dropbox sync.
    OX S is 10.10.5
    iOS is 9.1
Yes, I've changed my password on my phone, and on my computer uninstalled and reinstalled 1password. The trash was cleaned out so there are no old files left accessible.
    Regards,
    Paula

    Hi @pauladozois,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with 1Password on your Mac!

Just in case it makes a difference, it will be helpful if you could confirm the exact version of 1Password you have on your iPhone: Which version of 1Password am I running?

If I understand the problem, you changed the master password on your iPhone, and that new master password is not accepted by 1Password on your Mac. Is that correct? If so, have you tried unlocking 1Password on your Mac with your old master password?

After changing the master password from your iPhone, you'll need to follow these steps to start using the new master password on your Mac:

    • Unlock 1Password on your Mac device with the old master password.
    • Allow Dropbox sync to complete.
    • Once the sync is complete, lock 1Password for Mac.
    • Try to unlock 1Password with the new master password.

Does that help? Please let us know how it goes, and if it's still a problem, we'll continue from there. Thanks! :)
