I have to repurchase the app from the app store in order to use iCloud to sync iMac and Macbook pro?

No more details. Reading FAQ it appears that in order to use iCloud to sync iMac and MacBook with phones and tablet I actually have to pay again to download from Apple app store? This after many years of being a customer?

    Hey @blleininer! You are correct: The Mac App Store version is required to use iCloud sync. If you'd like to continue using the AgileBits Store version, you can feel free to. It supports Dropbox sync, which is also an apt solution for syncing between your computers. :) I'd recommend giving this knowledge base article a read and seeing if that helps you decide on a sync solution.
