"Typing" passwords into native Mac apps (non-browsers)
Any plans to implement password "typing" into native Mac apps? I come from KeePass on Windows where everything worked by "typing" into applications, which meant that native apps that prompted for passwords worked too.
I would like to see the same functionality implemented in 1Password, please.

Hi @411pass,
Thanks for taking the time to let us know you'd like 1Password to be able to fill passwords into non-browser Mac apps! That would certainly be a useful feature, and we've heard similar requests from other customers. I can let our developers know you're also interested in that (although I can't make any promises about if/when a feature like that might be added).
For now, in case it helps, you can bring up 1Password mini from any app on your Mac with the
⌥⌘\
( Option-Command-\ ) keyboard shortcut, type to find an item, and then use the⇧⌘C
( Shift-Command-C ) keyboard shortcut to quickly copy the password. It's not quite the same as having 1Password fill the password for you of course (and you may have already known about those keyboard shortcuts), but I thought it might be helpful. If you need anything else, we're here for you! :)

Thanks, yes that's what I do now, but it would be so much easier to do it with a simple key shortcut. Some day maybe soon.
