    I have a similar problem only with 1Password Mini on Safari. I'm on El Capitan, using the latest version of 1Password. The 1Password extension for Safari freezes. I have no problem with Chrome or Firefox.

    The previous discussion was for a problem trying to open the main 1Password app, but it sounds like the problem you're having is with the 1Password extension in Safari, so I've moved your post to a new thread to avoid confusion. I hope you don't mind!

    So just to make sure I understand - the 1Password extension / 1Password mini works correctly with Chrome and Firefox, but freezes when you try to use it in Safari? If so, can you confirm that you're able to open the main 1Password app?

    It will also help if you can let us know a few more details:

    • What exact version of the 1Password app is installed on your Mac?
    • Are you using the AgileBits Store version or the Mac App Store version of 1Password?
    • What version of the 1Password extension is installed in Safari?
    • At what point does the 1Password extension freeze in Safari? For example, do you see anything when clicking the 1Password icon in the Safari toolbar? Are you in the middle of doing something in the extension/mini when it freezes?
    • If you restart Safari, does the 1Password extension work?
    • Does it help if you restart your Mac?
    • When it freezes, do you see the OS X spinning colorful ball? Or is the extension just non-responsive?

    The more details you can give us about what happens with the extension in Safari, the better. Thanks! :)
