Bought an unnecessary second license.
I've had 1Password for years, but for some reason did not realized that one license worked on two of my Macs. I would appreciate a refund for the extra charge. And would then like to know how to sync my second Mac via DropBox. Thanks. (Purchased about 19:30 on 4 Nov.)

A member of AgileBits staff will deal with your refund request, I'm sure (so long as you're using the AgileBits store version of 1P as opposed to the Mac App Store version).
As you setting up Dropbox sync, this excerpt from the user guide will help you:

I have been using 1Password on my MacBook Pro for several years. Recently acquired MacBook Air and want to sync 1Password on both Macs via DropBox. I find the DropBox vault on Air but when I attempt to log into 1Password using current master password from MacBook Pro I'm not successful. Have also tried previous master password. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for the help. Speaking of further assistance, I've just installed 1Password on a second Mac but I am unable to log in on that Mac. Running DropBox on it and have chosen the vault. I show several licenses from 1Password over the years. I wonder if I have applied an incorrect license to the second Mac. Wonder if that could be the problem. Thanks.

Hi @oldink77,
I noticed you had posted separately about the Dropbox sync issue, and I've merged that post into this thread to keep the conversation in one place.
I show several licenses from 1Password over the years. I wonder if I have applied an incorrect license to the second Mac.
Licenses are not tied to Master Passwords in any way. Any license that unlocks the app should be fine, and will not determine which vault or Master Password is used.
Do you mean that you're seeing several sync files (for example, "1Password.agilekeychain") in Dropbox? If so, just make sure both machines are pointing to the same sync file. You can do that by verifying the filepath shown in 1Password > Preferences... > Sync.
If you continue to run into trouble, the quickest way for us to help you may be to look at a Diagnostics Report from each of your Macs. Here's how to create a Diagnostics Report, which you can email to us at support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and get back to you quickly.
Cheers!

Sad to say I don't use Mail and gmail is giving me a bad time with sending the report. So before I attack that Mail problem please allow me an attempt at clarification and a weekend to think it through and read the KB.
There's only one sync file in DropBox and I selected it. The problem comes when I attempt to sign in as a prior user. No Master Password works--the one currently used on my other Mac or even the one previously used. And I obviously don't want to create a new vault. This isn't a critical matter, so I have time. Thanks for your help.
