1PW Crashing when manipulating tags
1PW keeps crashing when manipulating, editing tags. I've been sending the crash reports over (just 3 today!), including the steps I was taking. The most recent one that just happened:
- Duplicate a database entry (guess any entry would do) that has a tag already assigned
- Go to the duplicated entry to edit it
- Click in the Tag field of the duplicated entry (in the attempt of deleting the tag)
- Crash!
I've been getting all sorts of crashes lately that has to do with tag manipulations. Hope this will be fixed soon. Very frustrating.
1Password Version: 5.4.1

Hi @pentool,
I'm sorry 1Password is crashing when you try to edit tags!
I haven't been able to reproduce this issue, so I wonder if you can elaborate on exactly how you trigger the crash? Does the item have to be duplicated first, or does the same thing happen when editing tags in any item? Have you tried this with different items, or the same item each time? After clicking Edit, does 1Password crash as soon as you click anywhere in the tags field? Or do you need to need to try to delete or edit the tags field first?
Also, if you reboot your Mac, does the same problem happen, or does that help at all?
Thanks in advance!

Well, I was not able to reproduce this issue since - although I've tried it. It seems the restart has helped...? I'm using folder syncing over local network and had some issues with it having multiple entries and all that goodies happen - which is another post. Maybe this also ad to do with it. Anyhow, hopefully the crash reports I submitted will give some insights. Thanks.

@pentool:
Don't.
Using a network share as your vault location often results in the vault being unavailable for 1Password to read and write, which is where you run into these sorts of issues — never mind multiple computers trying to access it at once. It's best to sync the vault to a local folder on each computer and then use rsync to keep them in sync.Be sure to update us here if the crash persists, though now I wonder if it might be related to the sync issue above.
