Error after updating / Trouble setting up Wi-Fi sync
Hi there,
I have been using 1Password for over a year without issue. Today, I got a notification that an update was avail for 1Password. I updated the app and then when I tried to open it, I received this error message:
“1Password” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “1Password” and download it again from the App Store.
Can you please advise?
After getting this sorted out, my next step is to get 1Password working on my iPhone 6s

Hi @rareartists,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having this problem. It sounds as if the new version which was downloaded was somehow corrupted and can't run. I suggest you re-download the 1Password app.
Did you buy this from our website agilebits.com? If you bought it from the agilebits.com website you should download it directly from our site and see if that works.
If you bought it from the Apple App Store you can remove the 1Password app from your applications folder and then download the 1Password app through the Apple App Store app.
This should not affect any of your installed data.

thanks - just before you replied, I resolved the issue by re-updating the app several times and eventually it worked.
Can you help me sync my 1Password for Mac with my 1Password for iOS? I am trying to use "Sync using Wi-Fi" on my iPhone, but nothing comes up, even though my Mac Book Pro and my iPhone are both on the same WiFi network.
Not sure where to go from here?

Have you set up wifi sync yet on your Mac and iOS device? If so, when you try to sync what is the exact error message you get?
As a preliminary measure which often helps, if you have already set up wifi sync please reboot both devices and see if that kicks wifi sync into action. If not, when you post again please tell us (in addition to the text of any error message you see):

@rareartists: Indeed, restarting each device and the router often helps. And make sure you don't have software blocking the connection (firewall, etc.) Let m know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)
