Wifi Sync

I have had 1PW on my Mac and associated phone iPad. My wife runs it on her laptop but has a separate vault
WE LOVE IT!!!!

We bought a MacBook Pro for children and I want to access the same vault which is on my Mac
IS IT TRUE I CANT DO THIS using Wifi sync?

    Yes: wifi sync currently works only between a Mac, on the one hand, and iOS devices (on the other hand). I suspect the solution you will need will involve using Dropbox to sync.

    (I'm assuming you're all using current versions of 1P: 1P5 for Mac and 1P6 for iOS.)

    Yes, everything latest and greatest with Macbook on El Capitain, MAC on Yosemite, Ip6's an iPad at 9.1.

    Have dropbox account but wonder do ALL the various hardware have to use the same method?
    Can I leave the phone, MAC and iPad using WIFI and just use dropbox for the Macbook?

    @drneutrino: Yes you can use both, but I wouldn't recommend it, for two reasons: if you set everything up with Dropbox, Dropbox will actually do a great job of preventing sync conflicts (it won't have any insight into the Wi-Fi Sync process); and of course using Dropbox as the sole sync method will greatly simplify things for you, since it does its thing automatically in the background.
