Is it possible to restore the recycle bin?

Hi,
I emptied the recycle bin of 1Password by accident. Now I am wondering if there is any possibility to restore the content of the recycling bin from a backup. I use CarbonCopyCloner to backup my whole system. Can you tell me where the content of the recycling bin is stored on my HDD so that I can search my backup for this folder and copy it into 1Password again? I hope I could explain my problem at least somehow.

Regards,
Alex

There may be an easier way to approach your problem. 1Password keeps automatic backups of your data (go to 1P5 > Preferences > Backups) and you'll probably find it easier to restore the relevant one of those. So far as I know there's no other way to restore items you've permanently deleted from 1Password's trash.

    Hi @Nahele,

I'm sorry to hear you accidentally deleted some items from 1Password! It's very easy to restore items that have only been moved to the Trash in 1Password, but if you empty the Trash, those items are gone, except for in backups of your vault.

As Stephen explained, 1Password makes automatic backups of your data, so you can restore from one of those. Before you do that, please make sure to make a new backup of your 1Password data, because restoring from a backup will remove all the current data in 1Password and replace it with the data from the backup. You can find more information about the Backup and Restore options in this page of the user guide.

Hopefully this helps, but if you have more questions or need anything else, just let us know! :)

Thank you very much! It worked. I was able to restore my data the way you recommended it.
