Where is the keyboard shortcut for opening the main window?

When iPassword is unlocked and the mini window is usable, sometimes I still want to interact with the main window. But other than using Spotlight, or clicking in the menubar and further clicking on the gear, and then clicking the Open iPassword, I would like a usable Keyboard shortcut to open the main window. I can't find it anywhere.

@Linneaz: There isn't a global keyboard shortcut for 1Password, apart from Fill ⌘ \ and Show mini ⌘ ⌥ \. But you can open it from mini as well:

    I hope this helps! :)

If you read my entire post, you will notice that the process you describe was mentioned (perhaps not clearly?) as an alternative to Spotlight. If AgileBits doesn't want to make it a keyboard shortcut, perhaps someone would like to give me a hint as to how I could set up my own keyboard shortcut via System Preferences.

  • Hey @Linneaz! I've wanted this too over the past few days, rather than using Alfred to launch 1Password. There are a few ways of accomplishing this, and I'd recommend giving this thread a read for some info on them. I personally went with the Automator route since Apptivate is rather old. It's up to you, though! Let us know if that helps. :)

Both look like really good options. I am going to try out Apptivate first since I like menubar apps, but the Automator route looks quite doable as well. Many thanks for your response.

  • @Linneaz No problem at all! If you have any other questions, feel free to pop in here and let us know. :+1:
