My password can't be input when I visit the Weather Channel website (www.weather.com).
The sign-in box already includes my username (or email), but when I click the browser extension in Firefox 42.0, the password is not input and I receive an error message from the Weather Channel that says a password must be entered. I've had this problem before, on other websites, where neither my username AND password could be entered automatically and I have to do so manually.

The usual solution for problems like this is to re-create and save the login manually. Have you tried that?
If you still have a problem please tell us the exact URL that's giving the trouble.

Hi @Kerfuddle,
How do you log into that site? I was looking around but couldn't find a page although I was instantly redirected to
uk.weather.com
- I don't know if that makes a difference. Hopefully Stephen_C's suggestion helps but if not can you link us to the login page please.0 -
To Stephan_C: Thanks for your advice. I re-created and saved the login manually, as described on the 1Password website, and entering the info from the 1Password browser icon now works normally.
To littlebobbytables: Thanks for your input. When you go to the Weather Channel website in the U.S., on the main page (www.weather.com), in the upper right hand corner are two options: Log In or Sign Up. I click on Log In and am directed to a separate page where I can Log In, as the first choice, or Sign Up, as the second choice below Log In. Using Stephan_C's advice, I saved the Log In manually and everything works normally. I appreciate your interest. If you are trying to do likewise, I wish you luck.0 -
Hi @Kerfuddle,
I'm glad Stephen_C's suggestion helped as it seemed the site was determined not to show me the same page that you're seeing
