My bank uses a Password then 6 digit number that is asked for on a random basis each time I log on.

Can 1 Password assist when the log on is different each time. It has captured the password and the sequence of numbers entered but next time the sequence of numbers were different and this caused the log on to fail

I'm afraid 1Password can't predict random logins of that kind. However, the version of 1P5 that you're using has a feature that will help you when completing that sort of login. In any password field click on the down arrow at the end of the field and you'll see this:

If you use the large type option the password will be displayed in large type, each character having a consecutive number under it so you can easily identify the position of each character. Of course, you can create custom "password" fields to contain your relevant sequence of numbers so that you can use the feature.

    Hi @paul_williamson,

I assume the password portion never changes, is that correct? If this is then what I would recommend is creating a Login item using our How to manually save a Login guide, with just the password field filled in on the page. With that Login item saved you would want to edit it in the main window at which point you will see two new options appear. The one you're interested in is called submit and if you change it from the default setting of Submit when enabled to Never submit it would allow you to fill the password field without attempting to submit the page. This would allow you to manually enter the random portion of the page. As for the digits to enter, Stephen_C's suggestion might be useful. I know I find it helps with my bank logins where I need to enter random characters of a password.

I hope this helps but please do let us know if you're looking for something a little different.
