Upgrade didn't work properly

tried to download upgrade and entire system failed and now have even lost I Password from my MAC Entire I PASSWORD application has disappeared from my MAC I need access to re-load I PASSWORD

    Hey @BSPAHR! We'd love to help you out with this, but we'll need a bit more info about your setup.

    • What version of OS X are you running?
    • What version of 1Password do you have installed?
    • Are you syncing your data? If so, where?

    That'll help us figure out what's going on.

    OS X El Capitan 10.11.1
    I PASSWORD won't open It was purchased 8/22/15 order # 12484139 I believe
    Don't know the answer to "Syncing"
    I had data entered 9/18/15 if that helps

    Hello @BSPAHR,

    So the first thing I would like to say is that unless something has gone catastrophically wrong your vault should still be on your Mac even if you're having problems with the actual application.

    So in your first post you said the 1Password application is gone. If you're saying there is literally no evidence of it in your /Applications/ folder then you should be able to download a fresh copy from our AgileBits Download page. Most browsers will download that to your Downloads folder and then all you should need to do is move it from there into the /Applications/ folder.

    If you do this and there are not other issues at play 1Password will pick up from where it left off. If you see any error message at all please do make a note of it and let us know what it says and we'll work to resume normal behaviour :smile:
