Possible bug: The vault app flickers wildly when moving 1Password with the vault unlocked on OSX

I have 2 screens attached to my 1.5 yr old Macbook Pro.

MacBook Pro: 16GB RAM
OSX: 10.11.1
1Password: 5.4

  • When I unlock the vault and attempt to move the OSX application anywhere on the same, or to other screens (I have 3) the vault flickers wildly like some wacky phased Star Trek character stuck in another universe.
  • If I lock the Vault, I can move it and the app does not have issue.

Anyone else seen this?

Lee

This is a known problem, which has been discussed here in other threads, and the developers are working to try to fix it.

    Greetings @LeeT,

We can definitely upgrade this from possible to definitely and working on it. According to our developers Apple introduced a new API in El Capitan that once we start using should eliminate this issue and we're looking into it now

    Hi @LeeT,

Thanks for understanding, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience! The good news is that I believe our developers have fixed this in a recent beta. So, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the fix should be included in the next update (although I don't have a timeframe for when that will be available).

We're here for you if you need anything else! :)
