Edit *large* security notes are very slow

Hi

I have used 1Password since many years, but only for passwords, license and id's. Small block of information, no problem, works great. But I have kept plain text files with configuration history. This configurations includes password, identities, certificates, id-strings and other stuff I don't really want visibly for anyone (like spotlight ;) Today, the larges configuration history files are almost 7 Mbyte large (plain text saved with BBedit). I did try to past it into a 1Password security notes, it did work but it is sooooo slow compare to BBedit or OS X TextEdit app. Is there any plan to improve the performance for BIG plain text notes in 1Password or do I have to find another solution to keep my configure logs secured?

Thanks for a good product.

Best Regards
Per Håkansson

    Hi @pellemannen,

The notes fields in 1Password aren't really designed for that much information. Instead of copying/pasting all the text from a file into a notes field, have you tried adding the text file itself as an attachment to an item in 1Password? We have information about attachments in this section of our user guide. I think that would probably work much better for you than putting the entire contents of one of those files in a note field.

Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you have more questions about that. Thanks! :)
