I just purchased your 1Password software. Here is my situation: My iMac is my primary device and I am trying to sync multiple devices to it (Android and a MacBook Pro). Right now, I have the Android synced, so that is working fine. However, the same is not true for my MacBook Pro (MBP). When I try to sync it (wifi),I tried uninstalling 1Password on the MBP, but the software forces me to recognize the MBP as the Primary Vault. I think that is the root of my issue. Any ideas?

1Password Version: 5.4.1 (541003) <---On both machines
Extension Version: ???
OS Version: iMac OS X 10.11.1 (15B42) & MBP OS X 10.10.5 (14F1
Sync Type: wifi

Wifi sync supports sync between your Mac, as server, and something like an iOS or Android device. Unfortunately, there's no way you can properly use wifi sync to sync between two Macs.

You could, of course, use Dropbox.

  • Hey @CPSI_TECH,

As Stephen mentioned, WiFi sync is only possible between a Mac/Windows and Android/iOS. To sync your computers, I'd recommend giving this article a read for some ideas on what to use:
