I am running 1P version 3.8.22 on El Captain. When i try to edit any entry the screen goes blank

Note the entry i made can be seen once i press save.
Note this is also happening on my iPhone after upgrade to ios9.1 1P ver 6.1 610012
Looks like a simple thing to fix.
