Wi-fi sync problems

When I do a wi-fi sync from my desktop I get a pop-up asking whether I want to download "Bonjour for Windows".
Do I have to download this first? Otherwise it seems I am unable to connect with my i-phone.
I use my i-phone as a personal hotspot (no wi-fi at work)
I prefer not to use the cloud to sync

    Hi @manie,

    Yes, we use Apple's Bonjour service to find your mobile devices on the home Wi-Fi network, so we can connect to perform the Wi-Fi sync. It avoids the need to figure out the IP addresses and ports as Bonjour can do that for you.

    Once you install Bonjour, restart 1Password on your PC and then you should be able to perform a Wi-Fi sync now.
