Windows 7, manual save a login, do not see settings
Windows 7, one password 4.6.0.592, looking for assistance to manually save a login. I have prepared user name and password on my target site, then, I open one password, and look for settings function. No settings function, so I choose Preferences. I search for a form labeled 1 password auto save, I cannot see the form. So I am stuck.
Thanks, Butch

@butchduryea - Hi Butch, If you want to manually save a login you need to first install the 1Password Browser extension. This guide will help you with this -
https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-windows/4/en/topic/setting-up-browsers
Once you have installed the 1Password Browser extension you will see a 1Password icon in your browser bar.
Then having entered your login information and before hitting submit or login,
- Click the 1Password extension, and unlock it if necessary.
- Select Settings.
- Select Save New Login.
- Select ‘Create new login’.
- Give the entry a unique and identifiable title.
- Click Save.

Thanks Laura,
I am good to the select settings portion. I see no settings category. I look under preferences. I see no save new login.0 -
Hi @butchduryea,

Hey Mike,
I'm using internet explorer. How do I get to the first dropdown box?0 -
Hi @butchduryea,
Follow the instruction here to show the command bar: https://support.1password.com/missing-extension-button/
If you don't see the icon on the command bar, then enable both 1Password's components as mentioned here: https://support.1password.com/keyboard-shortcut-not-working/#web-browser-settings
