  • Hi @johnkrehlik,

Do you want to stop using 1Password completely or do you want to start over with a new vault?

If you want to start over, you do not need to remove 1Password for that, you only need to archive or delete your 1Password vault. The program itself does not have to be removed, you can create a new vault and encrypt it with a new master password. If you do this, we recommend that you take advantage of the 1Password Emergency Kit in the event that you may forget your password again: http://productivityist.com/1password-emergency-kit-3/

In addition, we would also recommend archiving the data or just renaming the folder in case you may remember it later as some of our users do. We have a guide on how to do this here: https://support.1password.com/starting-over/win.html

If you want to completely remove your data, you can use Windows' Control Panel to uninstall 1Password and then remove the 1Password directory in your Documents folder. That should take care of everything for you.
