I am having trouble editing text in the secure note field for password (mac) 3

This recently started being a problem. When I try to edit text in the secure note version the white space enlarges and doesn't allow me to enter text. Help please. I am using OS X 10.10.2

@lavocate: Sorry for the confusion! 1Password for Mac version 3 was designed for Snow Leopard and Lion, so El Capitan has introduced some problems there. Please read this post for more information and let me know if you have any questions:
