Just upgraded to the latest and greatest--best $25 I have spent (after the first amount I spent ;) and have a lingering question: Is it really safe for a guy like me who's not that savvy to back my agile keychain up on dropbox? I have to balance off the insane unhappiness I would feel if my machine got stolen and had to rebuild all my 1P stuff from scratch versus the EVEN GREATER UNHAPPINESS i would feel if someone tapped my dropbox account and looted my life.

Can someone speak to the risk before I do it. Otherwise thanks again for a superb product and amazing turnarounds on updates like safari 5.0 Love you guys.

Thanks for the kind words, Cameron. Your 1Password data file is protected by 128-bit AES encryption no matter where it's stored. Dropbox adds 256-bit AES encryption to that:

In short, yes, I believe it quite safe. Even if you handed your data file over to someone, it would be useless to them without your master password.
