1Password could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled

This started after FF updated itself to v43 (43.0.1). Was working fine before.

From Mozilla:
"Starting with Firefox 43, there are some restrictions in place for add-on distribution. Extensions and multipackage installers that support Firefox need to be signed by Mozilla..."

Have you done that?

    Ah ha. A remove/reinstall of the browser plugin eventually worked. Initially connection mailure error but clicking on Install from alternate location did work.
    Case closed.

    We've actually offered a signed extension for a few months now. It's odd that they're saying "Starting with Firefox 43", since I was sure that this started with v40. But perhaps their timeline changed at some point and I missed it.

    Anyway, I'm glad to hear that reinstalling resolved the issue for you. And don't mind my rambling. I just wanted to clarify that for you or anyone else who might have a similar question. Cheers! :)
