1 Password has not worked in months. Running version 3.8.22 in an iMac version 10.11.2.
I'd like to be able to use 1Password, but it hasn't worked in since I installed El Capitan on my iMac (v 10.11.2)
Support articles mention extensions, but it isn't clear which extension I need to fix this.

Hi @PNpqt02,
So it isn't good news I'm afraid and all of this is covered in the thread thightower linked you to. Basically 1Password 3 for Mac is old enough now that the changes made since Mountain Lion (but mostly in El Capitan) mean 1Password 3 for Mac just isn't compatible any more. We cover the things you might experience along with what real options you have which basically are updating to 1Password 5. It's all covered in thread but should you have any questions please do ask and we'll do our best to answer.

@larryrsch: While you're free to continue using the old version of 1Password, it is only supported on OS X Snow Leopard and Lion. While later OS X releases seemed to work just fine with it, El Capitan has introduced some glitches. While it may be that an OS X update may help at some point, 1Password 3 has not been under active development for years and will not be receiving any updates itself...so upgrading is definitely recommended, so that you can use software designed for the OS you're running to have a better experience.
