See screen snap

I did a search (obfuscated) for a string and this was the result

  1. items not displayed correctly in explorer results
  2. item not displayed correctly either
  3. no 'delete' operation appears to be available

Sync does appear to be functioning - but this isn't usable.

1Password Version: 2016.1.101

Thank you for taking time to contact us, @jdowson!

In your screen shot, I see you have the Logins category selected, several "blank-named" items in the list area (typically items that have been moved to the Trash on another platform—we're working on getting them out of the list area), and a Login item selected and displayed in the details area.

    Regarding the problems you're reporting:

    1. What "explorer results" are you referring to?

    2. In what way is the item not displayed correctly?

    3. Correct—item deletion has not yet been implemented in the beta app.

Also, could I ask what version (build) of the beta app you're using?

    Thanks!

The items should not be blank - there are items

By 'Explorer results', I mean the list in the middle column

Here's the same search result on my Mac screen snap

    Thanks for the follow-up, @jdowson!

The items should not be blank - there are items

As I noted above, that typically happens when the beta app doesn't know what to do with an item that's been put in the Trash in 1Password on another platform. Because you have the same count (602) for Login items on both platforms, though, that might not be case, here. Do you have any items in the Trash in 1Password for Mac?

By 'Explorer results', I mean the list in the middle column

    I see. Thanks!

Here's the same search result on my Mac screen snap

The elements you obfuscated in your screen shot of the beta app are visible in your Mac screen shot. No passwords are showing, but I thought I'd mention it.

You're right! Sorry about that—I was befuddled.

    .

Anyway, I'll ask Dev to take a look at this, too, in case I'm missing something.

Thanks for your patience and assistance!

There are no items in the trash, and as far I can tell, everything is in sync.

Yes, I know the snap elements are unobfuscated (thanks).

Dev pointed out a few things I missed!

First, the dots circling around your vault icon (near the top of the left column in your screen shot) indicate that the beta app is still reading your vault from Dropbox.

I should've mentioned specifically that, even though the "602" matches what's shown in 1Password for Mac, the beta app does show items that have been moved to the Trash on other platforms, and that still seems the most likely cause of all the "blank-named" items at the top of the center column.

Once syncing does finish, please tap Settings > Help > Support, and send us your recent logs. (Please include a link to this forum thread, so we can tie them together.)

Note: Regarding "unless you're using a Teams vault" in my earlier reply—I forgot that the beta app doesn't yet have a delete-item function for Teams vaults, either. I'll update the reply appropriately.
