Two Licenses for version 3

Just discovered I bought two licenses for version 3 - family. Can I get credit for one on future versions? Would like to eventually upgrade.

    Hi @elkhorn,

What you're seeing is an oddity in that you originally purchased a 1Password 2 for Mac licence in 2007 and later upgraded it to a 1Password 3 for Mac licence in 2009. I don't know know why but we display it as two 1Password 3 licences which is incorrect. The way to determine which is which is by the first four digits of the licence key, one will start with 1PW2 and the other will start with 1PW3. You can still use either licence to purchase a newer version at a discount though and you can see the offers by visiting Upgrades for Existing Licence Owners and entering one of the licences (it doesn't matter which).

So don't start wondering what on earth you were doing purchasing redundant licences, your judgement was quite sound and it's just how the information is being displayed in the email that is the issue.

    Does that help?
