All data lost from vault

in 1Password 4 for Windows

My windows version of 1password 4 suddenly lost all data in the vault after my computer restarted. I had to resign in to 1password as a "new" user and attempted to "fix" the vault, but the vault was not recognised. I unfortunately did not have a backup of my data [:-(]. Is there any way to get any of the data back?

    Hi @Shelluser - I'm so sorry that your 1Password data appears lost after restarting your Windows PC. 1Password for Windows creates automatic backups and the default location is \Documents\1Password\Backup. Can you look in this location for your backups. You should see them there and you can restore from one of these backups as follows -

    Run 1Password.
    From the lock screen select Backup > Restore 1Password Vault from Backup.
