1Password fills in the wrong form on the page - any way to fix?

For example, if I go to webhostingtalk.com and hit control-\, it fills in my username/password to a form down at the bottom, but not in the top login form.

That is one example but it's a more general problem - there are other sites where I manually need to copy my password and paste it because 1Password fills the wrong form on a page with multiple forms.

Is there a way to "point" 1Password at the right form?

    Greetings @raindog308,

How do you normally create Login items in 1Password? There are two general approaches, you can manually create Login items inside the main 1Password window where you enter the various bits of information including the URL or you have 1Password create a Login item from inside your preferred web browser by way of the 1Password Browser Extension. The two approaches have one key difference. When you save a Login item from inside your browser it gives 1Password a chance to see what fields you've filled and which you haven't. On a login page for a website that has both fields for logging in and registering this information is invaluable as otherwise 1Password has to guess and guesses can be wrong.

What I would recommend trying is seeing if the steps we detail in our page, How to manually save a Login help at all. This is the manual way in contrast to what we cover in our Saving a Login (Mac) page. They're very similar in that both rely on the extension talking to 1Password mini to communicate what fields are on the page and more importantly what you as the user entered into each specific field.

If you save a new Login item for one of the troublesome sites using this approach do you find it works better?
