How do I save a web site that does not require a username or password? Rare, but does come up.

With my previous password manager (Lastpass), I could add a site even without a username or password. The point is to have all web references in one place, rather that most in the manager and the rest in browser bookmarks. I may have 5 stock photo web sites I like to reference, but one does not require you to login. I would like to include that site also in 1Password, so it's always a one-stop-shop, and that's what I could do under LastPass. I just need this site to pop up in when I type a few letters in the 1Password extension like "stock." Even if it's been 2 years since I ran across the site, it comes up because "stock" is in the name or tag, and I can now see all of the stock photo web sites I consider valid.

@chriselley You're right! It's common for folks to want to use 1Password as a general purpose bookmark manager. You can create a login in the main 1Password application and only set the URL there without a username and password. Does that help?

That does help. I had been trying to do it through the browser extension and mini app without luck. Using the full app and the + icon seems to do the trick. Thanks!

I would advocate universal access to this function across extensions in the future.

    Hi @chriselley,

It's an interesting notion. Leave the automatic check as it is but have it where if you try to manually save a Login item that it always offers, no matter what it detects - have I understood your request correctly?

I think that's correct. Put simply - the full application allows you to add a web site without a username or password (though it will be classified as a "login"). I am advocating that the same functionality be accessible from the mini app and the browser extension buttons, even if 1Password does not detect a user and password.

In so doing, the user can tag and keep any web site that interests them and easily pull it up in the future.

    Hi @chriselley,

Thanks for confirming, I just like to make sure I'm properly understand the request as there would be nothing worse than misunderstanding, filing a feature request for the wrong thing and seeing that implemented only for you to come back to say "that wasn't what I was looking for"

I'm going to file a feature request so that manual save always offers to save no matter what.
