Can't add a Team account
G'day,
I am trying to add a team group. I put in the saved details (copied and pasted from Windows release version), but when I press 'join' the the app closes. No data is saved. I did see another post that discussed the team name (name.1password.com vs name). I have tried both without success. I seem to have no issues with the Team in the Apple (MAC/IOS) environment.

@Bill_W, I'm sorry you're having a problem with the beta app.
Have you tried the "scan code" option in the "join Team" dialog? You can use the camera on your phone to take a photo of the QR code you received from us when you created your 1Password for Teams account.
Please let us know how it goes!
Note: I see you've listed version 4.6.0.598 of 1Password for Windows in the footer of your message above. The instructions I've offered work only in the beta app.

@Bill_W there is known issue with user email field - it must be all in lowercase. Hope that helps.

I am trying to do this on a laptop. The camera doesn't seem to recognise the QR code.
Note: I have both the beta and release version on the same same laptop

I have done some more investigations. There appears to be an issue with my ISP (home) network. I think this has shown up in the past as errors getting onto your https websites. I am currently seeing a error connect reset error on https://agilebits.com when I use my home network, I can get through using my cell phone as a tether. (this sounds like this discussion - https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/261152/#Comment_261152)
For the Teams application, this connectivity issue appears to force the app to close and drops the connection to the Team vaults.
Hope this helps.

No, but I think the issue is not them (I am using them for this contact!!). It is only some of your sites, and even then I can trick a browser into loading a page if I repeatedly reload it by holding down a refresh key.
When I was last on the loading issue discussion (link above) I thought I had the issue fixed, but it seems maybe not now. The last issue seemed to be associated with Avast. I use Trend Micro products, are they likely to be affected the same way?

@Bill_W I'm not sure what's going wrong with HTTPS/certificates/networking stuff, but I'm sure Windows app could do better by not crashing. Can you please try to get a crash again, then restart app and click Settings\Help\Support\Email 3 days logs ? That should open your configured email client and attach logs, it will help us to investigate what went wrong inside Windows app.
In case you haven't get a chance to see Settings button yet, you can run this in your browser op://help - that should open the same screen.
Thanks!
