what is the best way to "close or merge" info from one vault to another.

I created too many vaults! I would like to close some but there is data that I need to transfer to the vault(s) that I keep. What is the best way to transfer the data from one vault to another? Should the "old" vaults be deleted or archived?

    Hi @Erfngel - It's very easy to transfer records from one vault to another using copy and paste -

    Select the vault you want to copy from using the File > Re-Open 1Password Vault option.
    Hold down Ctrl key and click on each record you want to copy.
    You can use Ctrl + A if you want to select all records to copy.
    When all the records you want to copy are selected, click Ctrl + C.
    Select the vault you want to copy to using the File > Re-Open 1Password Vault option.
    Click Ctrl + V to paste these records into this vault.
    You will see a confirmation prompt for each record being copied across.

    I recommend you keep your old vaults for a while and you can archive them to any location you wish. Please let us know if you have any further questions on this.
