new user.setup 1password doesn't recognize my E-mail/username
downloaded earlier tonight and loaded 5-10 sites. Walked away for a couple hours and it shutdown the program. Now it won't recognize me. Says has no record of my E-mail so obviously P/W won't work. I used this multiple times earlier tonight and it worked fine. The P/W I'm using is correct. Is this what I can expect? I'm leaving lastpass because of this type of stuff.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.
Please excuse my confusion here but what are you trying to access? A website or 1Password? Because for the latter you only need your master password.

1Password will not accept my master P/W. In researching through the site it appears that they do not have a U/N or e-mail address for me which is probably why my master P/W won't work. Everything was going fine through the start of the setup until I left the comp. for a couple hours and 1Password closed. Then it wouldn't let me back in. I used that p/w multiple times throughout the setup so I don't understand why it won't work.

Can you please reboot your PC, then make sure that you haven't changed your keyboard layout.
Please let us know if unlocking 1Password works normally after rebooting.

Rebooting had no effect on my problem. I still think the problem is in my account not having my e-mail/username attached to it. At some point in my struggles it told me it didn't recognize it. If it doesn't have my username in there the password will never work.

Please help me out here:
1Password for Windows only requires you to enter the master password that you chose when you first set up you 1Password vault.You are not required to enter an email address.

I have no idea who the above (dwat8) individual is but my problem seems to be going nowhere. It will not accept the password that was set up. We are still at square one. Getting frustrated this is taking so long.

Please email us your 1Password diagnostics report, it will not require you to unlock first. Use this guide to generate the report and email it to us at support+windows@agilebits.com. Also, in the email, include the link to this thread along with your forum username, so that we can connect the email to this thread.
Let us know here when you've sent it, so we can confirm we got the email.

I can't send you the Diagnostic report because I can't get into the application. It will not let me past the password. My username is Miami680000. I got in several times when I set it up but it won't take my password.

@Miami680000: Sorry for the confusion! You can absolutely send a diagnostics report regardless of your ability to unlock the app:
It does, however, sound like you're describing something else besides 1Password, since you won't have (or be asked for) a username, only your Master Password. Could you please clarify what you're seeing? If it's simpler, take a screenshot of this. To include it in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:
